November was a month full of excitement, learning, and new experiences in our Toddler Room!
We explored the theme of Community Helpers, enjoying songs like “My Neighbourhood” and the “Community Helpers Song.” These songs helped introduce different community professions and supported the children’s growing language skills.
With the weather changing, we also learned about the importance of using sunscreen to stay safe in the sun. Mary’s dancing and singing sessions added even more joy and energy each week!
Indoors, the children loved playing with playdough and creating wonderful things using recycled materials. We welcomed new children into the room, and our little community is growing beautifully. New friendships are blooming every day.
We also went on lovely outings to the library and park, giving the children new spaces to explore and enjoy. One of the proudest moments this month was watching the toddlers practise independence by cutting their own fruit for morning tea—such a big achievement for our little learners!
We are so proud of how much confidence, curiosity, and independence our toddlers have shown throughout November.
