Today in our Kinder room, children engaged in a creative and meaningful activity to explore emotions through colourful playdough
The children were provided with different colours of playdough, each representing a feeling:
-Yellow – Happiness
-Red – Anger
-Pink – Love
-Blue – Sadness
Using playdough mats, the children were encouraged to shape, mould, and express their feelings through hands-on play
It was wonderful to see children:
– Creating different facial expressions
– Talking about how they feel
– Making connections between colours and emotions
This activity supported:
– Emotional awareness and expression
– Fine motor skills
– Creativity and imagination
– Communication and language development
A fun and engaging way to help our little learners understand and express their feelings
