Our children were excited to experiment with paints and discover new colours during our creative art activity. The children wore their art smocks and were given paper to create their beautiful artwork.
The educator first demonstrated how to mix colours, and each child received a small mixing bowl and a stick to explore the paints.
-Aarvin chose red and yellow. As he mixed them carefully, he watched with excitement and said, “I got orange!” –Asya selected blue and red, discovering a brand new colour as she mixed them together.
-Serina chose yellow and blue, and when she mixed them she happily said, “It’s green!”
After exploring colour mixing, the children used the paints to create beautiful handprint artwork, expressing their creativity and imagination. –
Activities like this encourage children to explore, experiment, and learn through play while developing creativity and confidence.
