Yesterday our Baby Room children from Small Friends Early Education Pearl Street enjoyed a lovely excursion to the Glenroy Library Hub for Rhyme Time 📚🎶. The children were well prepared with sunscreen, hats, and safety checks, and travelled comfortably in the 6-seater pram with their educators 👒🧴. On the way, they enjoyed observing the trees, listening to the birds, and feeling the cool breeze, building their awareness of the world around them 🌳🐦. At the library the children happily joined the Rhyme Time session, singing songs, listening to stories, and engaging with the environment. They also enjoyed a small snack before heading back to the centre with big smiles and happy memories 😊. Excursions like this support language development, social skills, confidence, curiosity, and early literacy, while helping children connect with their local community and develop a lifelong love of books and learning
